dislikes , truth or dare, her adoptive parents, being told no, being underestimated, getting in trouble, dresses, bugs, horror movies, vanilla ice cream, louis vuitton, quiet music, happy families
fears , needles, big audiences, being left again, getting pregnant, lonliness, having another eating disorder, being kidnapped, snakes
habits , fixing her hair, biting her nails, talking to fast, standing in first postion
flaws , tries to hard to please others, unable to sing, clingy, loud, unorganized, procrastinator, texts too much, forgets things quickly, klutz outside of ballet class, has embarassed easily, germaphobe, insecure
personality , sweet- it's impossible for lauren to hold a grudge. she believes everyone should get along and ultimately be friends. though she's sweeter than double-fudge cake, she's not shy in the least. she loves meeting new people and making friends. still, she clings to her old friends like static. it doesn't take much to get to her, but it's hard to want to because she's such a sweetheart and can always find the good in everyone.
indepent; laur is not the kind of girl that sits back and let's people do things for her. having spent a good deal of time in an orphanage, she knows that she's never been in titled to anything. she's learned that the best way to get something down is to do it yourself, and she's not afraid to let you know. if you need a favor, she's your girl to ask, seeing as she's always eager to please.
laid-back; she's a very chill kind of girl. she doesn't get worked up easily and there are very few moments when she actually loses her temper. laur won't provoke people and is usually the one to look the other way when it comes to letting people off the hook. it's all part of her needing to please people. she's figured out that if she doesn't get on people's nerves (though she hasn't figured out how annoying her clinginess is), they're less likely to leave her.
flirty; most of the time, it's unintentional, but lauren is quite the charmer. she has a habit of batting her eyelashes and twirling her hair. she can't help herself. and she falls hard and fast. as soon as a guy uses the right words, she's hooked and will do anything to please him from there on out, especially if she flirted with him first. laur is one of those girls that falls too hard, too fast. still, if she decides to, she could easily charm her way into a guys heart. it's probably better if she doesn't know that, though.[/ul]

history , [/ul] delilah and matt couldn't have been more in love, but when dee revealed to her boyfriend that she was pregnant during junior year, matt didn't know how to handle it. so for nine months, matt plotted the death of the girl carrying his child. on october 15th, four days after having her baby, a beautiful daughter named lauren, delilah left the child with one of her good friends, and went to visit matt. she never returned. it was never explained to laur what her father did to her mother, but she wasn't quite sure she was upset about that.
delilah's parents took the child in, but both were killed in a car accident when lauren was 8. after a childhood of tradgedy, she went to live in an orphange for 6 years. and year after year, lauren's condition only grew worse. she was completely mute for her first year at saint abigail's and probably would have gone for longer than that, until a gentle old nun broke through her shell. lauren refused to trust the nun at first, but little by little the two became great friends. by the time the first couples interested in adoption had come to visit, she was a bright, fiery, but definitely overweight, 11 year old. as each rich and snotty woman turned her nose up and walked away, the hole in lauren's heart got bigger. why wasn't she good enough? when she finally figure out it was her weight, anorexia took over.
finally, three years later the kindest couple came and took her with them, only to leave her with a nanny. after discovering that she was not going to be raised by two loving parents who chose to care for her, but someone paid to look after her, lauren lost it. she locked herself in her room, refusing to eat. maybe, if she was skinny enough, mr and mrs barry would love her. after the third nanny had quit, lucinda came along. she changed everything for laur. luc got help for lauren's anorexia, put lauren in a different school, and ultimately, gave lauren a new perspective of life. no longer would she mope in the past, she could finally be her own person. with some support from all her new friends, of course.

Sleep was one thing that was limited for Hailey recently. She stayed up late, thinking about her mother and regretting not getting to know her better and then when she was too tired to hold up her own head, she'd pass out in her jeans and t-shirt or skirt and blouse and wake up a few hours later after a dream-turned-nightmare where she and Gwen were out shopping and Gwen went into a liquor store, while Hailey waited on the outside, thinking of ways to tell her mother she was really Hailey. But her mother never comes out.
Hailey had fallen asleep at 4 this morning, but this time, she'd actually put on pajamas and she'd been too tired to even dream. She woke up to the sun piercing through her curtains, lighting her entire bedroom. She stretched, before standing up and walking to the mirror. She picked up a brush and ran it through her long, blonde-brown hair. Her reflection frightened her. Dark circles under blood-shot eyes and pale skin, pale compared to her natural Portugese tan. Hailey sighed, before noticing how frigid her feet were. She opened a draw and found a pair of white socks, she sat and put them on her feet.
At the sound of Taylon's voice, she rose. Why was he still calling her Hannah? Hadn't she told him she was Hailey? She couldn't remember, honestly. She'd been avoiding Tay as much as she could, going out and wandering Clearwater before returning, eating, and locking herself in her room. She knew it was unfair, but she couldn't help it. She couldn't stand to look at Cory because every time she did, she saw Amy. And Amy wasn't around either. Taylon was no help, either. The babies were so much more important to him than she was. Didn't he realize how difficult it was to have your mother die, just before you got to introduce yourself? Obviously, not. He didn't even know that was the situation, apparently.
She made her way down the steps. "Morning, Taylon." she sighed. Now how was she going to tell him that she wasn't Hannah. She was Hailey... She was Hailey, right? She'd been called Hannah for such a long time, she felt as if Hailey no longer exsisted. She opened cabinets and found a box of Cap'n Crunch, a bowl, and a spoon. She opened the fridge and got the milk, poured it into her bowl, and put it back. She smiled at Cory. A thought occurred to her that they weren't so different. Both barely knew their mother and had lost a sister. Of course, Hailey's sister was back to her adoptive family and she could talk to her if needed, but it wasn't the same.
She turned to study the kitchen, then she faced Taylon, preparing herself for an unusual conversation. Where to begin? She played with the zipper on her white Hollister hoodie and swirled her spoon around in her cereal. "So, uh... How did you sleep last night?" she sounded confused and nervous to her own ears, but she hoped Tay wouldn't notice. She continued to swirl her spoon and avoid Taylon's eyes. What would he say when he found out? Would it change anything? Hailey missed her sister, terribly. They hadn't known each other long, but with Hannah, Hailey felt like she could do anything. She missed that feeling. Now, she just felt like a lost soul, waiting for someone to point her in the right direction.
