dislikes , camera's. she hates her picture being taken. jerks, though, some get off well enough with her. heart break, though no guy has ever actually broken her heart as of yet.
fears , storms-- she's terrified of them, and doesn't know why, but thunder scares her to a certain point, to where she'll hide, she's always been scared of thunder, and there was never a big reason as to why she would be. dying alone, though she wont admit it-- she doesn't want to die alone, she'd rather have been able to say she had someone to love before she died. seeing as she has no more family left.
habits , biting her nails, she's got a big problem with that, meaning, her nails never look that great.
flaws , being short, is what she considers one, because it sucks in her opinion. being a bit on the klutz side, it's horrid when you're trying not to fall.
personality ,
sarcasm-- it's something she's very fond of, and that one's not very hard to notice about the woman, she likes to be an ass when it comes to a few things, it's just a trait she's yet to break, something she can't help. but she's almost always joking when she gets sarcastic. there's almost always a grin, maybe even a smirk on her face; that's a thing, it's a smirk or grin, never an actual smile. you get use to that one after time. cocky-- is what some people may call her, but she doesn't see it that way at all. it's not like she goes around saying she could take down everyone, or that she's better at things, that's not ophelia. but when it comes down to a fight with her and someone else? she has no doubt how good she could do-- she's been in one too many fights for someone of her size structure. and she knows she can handle herself in this type of situation. but some people see this as cocky, when ophelia only see's it at knowing her strength, and how to handle anything that's thrown at her. she does not expect to win every little thing, oh no, she knows somethings she'll run from, but when it comes to it, ophelia isn't a runner. she'd rather fight it out; if she has a feeling that something will go wrong, she'd run. she's not a dumb ass.
she's actually smarter than people tend to take her for, just because she's a "pretty" little girl, though, she'd kick your ass for that, doesn't mean she's dumb, doesn't mean she's like half those other girls that can't figure out what's going on around them, no, ophelia is very bright. you wouldn't be able to see this until after a while though, because she likes risk, and she thinks on a dime. she takes action too quickly, and usual things go wrong, meaning you'd think she was an idiot for half the stuff she does. but she can think, and her plans usually work if she tries to think them out as much as she can. but ophelia hates doing so, she'd rather go at it right then and there, with no regrets, she learned that from her "mother". don't look back, do what you want to do-- looking back just makes you regret. and why would you want to do that? she's a thinker, she doesn't see a point in some things, like relationships, your hearts going to get broken at some point or another, so why bother? flings, seem to be her style, it means no strings are attached, meaning, no heart breaks, no pain. but ophelia had never seen the point in worrying about such a thing, if you find that person, you find them. if not, well, then you're a fail. whether she looks it or not, ophelia has a pretty low self esteem, she constantly picks on herself. saying she's not pretty, she's too tall, too thin, that every little thing she does is wrong, and that people are constantly thinking she's a loser, a weirdo, a nut case.
when that just isn't how it goes. don't tell her she's pretty, she'll have a fight with you on that until you take it back, that's how she see's her self, and she doesn't want anyone changing her mind on that topic. she's stubborn when it comes right down to the point, she wont let her mind get changed easily, once she has something, it seems set and stone. it would be a battle to change her mind-- something would have to happen, to change it. grace is something she lacks a bit, for the most part she's good on her feet, but she is not sly, she is not all that sneaky, maybe sometimes, but for the most of the time, she is not. she's a pretty calm person, for the most part, it depends on what situation she's in, sometimes it's like she doesn't even care, like it doesn't even bother her, other times it kills her-- she'll freak, it'll stress her and when something get's to ophelia, it's not that hard to see-- she's quiet, shaken up, smoking, and looking like she's had a rough day, it's not that hard to notice when somethings up, and you're an idiot if you don't realise it.
another part of her, is that little nasty temper that she has hidden away, it doesn't seem to take a much, you just need to know how to strike a nerve. certain things will get her going, ask about her past, and you'll get a cold comment, ask about her parents, and she'll brush you off; make you wish you had shut up. she get's cold when mad-- and she's not scared to speak her mind, though ophelia is pretty blunt half the time, she wont beat around the bush, and she'll tell you straight up you need to back off. and when she gets mad enough, you should back down; she wouldn't be playing, and she wouldn't care if you were bigger and could take her down-- she gets too reckless. and that's noticeable.

history ,
ophelia wasn't wanted when she was born-- her mother was sixteen, her father was nineteen, see the big difference? now, the whole ordeal of this child, was a mistake. she wasn't meant to be, it was just a little lust feast between two people, who didn't know a thing about the other. it started with fleeting glances back and forth, a small conversation here and there; added with a little drinking, and the fact that it wasn't hard to get away from the crowed of people. and look what came of that? a little baby girl. now, why hold a mistake in your arms, or keep her with you every day? her mother saw it as a big mistake, nothing good would come out of having a child at the very age of sixteen. and the thought in her mind, other than abortion-- though her parents said if they did that they'd kick her out, and wouldn't leave anything to her when they passed away. so her only option left was adoption, and that was what she did when the child was born. ophelia has no clue of the names of her real parents-- they never told her, they refuse to tell mostly anything about the day they got there. she only knows the ages, but nothing more. and all those stories you hear of the adoption system? well, for the most part, it's true. or it was for the raven headed girl. most of it could be considered true. considering they weren't treated with the greatest of care. the orphanage was not the best looking place either, it was not that appealing to people who came by. it was run down, and the building often had problems, they were not rare for the people that got use to it. they were not treated with the greatest of care, in which they should have been. they were often treated like they didn't matter, as if they weren't even a living person. and ophelia had been there since she was born, though she remembers none of it, most of the moments are forgotten at such young ages.
really, who remembers such things while they're overly little? she'd never been with a family, until the age of five. the family was nice enough, but after so long of knowing how the child acted, even at the small age of five, they couldn't take it. she seemed to grow to their disliking. they hadn't wanted such a child, one that would cause issues in later years, and they knew ophelia would do so. just by how she acted at the time. she was too bold, how she never seemed to care what others though, but a five year old shouldn't have a care in the world! her time with that family did not last long at all, because they sent her right back to an orphanage, a different one than before. either way it went, she was shoved back into the system. it seemed to be just the same as it had been once before, being treated the same as she once had. for then on, things didn't seem to change. it took two years for another family to cone by and get interested in the little child. by now she was seven and understood things a bit more than she had when she was five or six. not much, but she still knew a bit more on the things going on around her. another family saw a little charm in ophelia, they found her too be so adorable and again, the child was blessed with a family. and it lasted longer than the first one had, only by a bit though. they hadn't had a daughter, they had three children already, an those three where boys, ranging from sixteen to ten, and they wanted the one thing they were yet to have, a daughter. now, the mother got her wish. but some issues seemed to service with this, the boys picked on her, and after so long, the girl seemed to fight back. bickering became something that was often heard, fights were picked so much during one day, and ophelia was the one taking the blame for every little thing that went wrong. everything seemed to be ophelia fault, it's --- what they said --- is the reason they sent her back into the system. it was never the same place-- ever time she was sent back, it was always in a different area, but always in hawaii.
and she never seemed to be the same after being sent back so many times. know family really ever wanted to have her as their own, they always found some reason to send her back, found something they didn't like about her, she caused too much trouble, without meaning too, she was too outgoing, too sarcastic at times, tried to have too much fun. those were all factors. and ophelia was in and out of the system until she was about thirteen. then someone seemed to come along, a man, his wife wanted a daughter-- but couldn't produce. it was her only wish, she happened to have had cancer, and the only thing she wanted was a child, to be able to say she had one. he wanted a child that made him think of her every time he looked at them, he wanted a child that had something of her-- whether they where her's or not, they had to have some way of showing her in them. and the looks of them, wouldn't it have been wonderful if the child even looked close enough to her? dark hair and eyes, was not hard to find, and he happened to find the perfect child. ophelia seemed to fit all of it, she was feisty, she could put up a fight liked to have fun, and many other things. and she even had dark hair and those dark brown eyes that seemed to twinkle to match it. once again, her charm had found her a home. and the best part of it all, her new mother had no clue she'd be getting a daughter. it thrilled her so. for the final time, she seemed to get a family, and they never sent her back either. they were just like one another, her knew mother and her. the cancer didn't seem to stop her from getting to know the girl, and it didn't stop her from doing anything she seemed to want to do. and it felt like she really had a daughter, with how they acted almost the same, she paid no mind to if ophelia looked even a bit like her or not, that wasn't what mattered to her. but she felt like she truly had a child, like ophelia was really her daughter, and had always been that way.
at the age of sixteen, her mother passed away-- having died the way they all knew she would, by cancer. her father kept her though-- he still had someone to call family, even if it wasn't by blood. he still felt she was his daughter, and a constant reminder of how his wife had been. he loved her just as much as he could, the way a father would love his daughter. having been adopted didn't stop anything. from then on in, it was just the two of them, until ophelia was eighteen, she came home one day from work, to find the place empty, no father, no sign that anyone had been there for the whole day or so, and he never came home, a week, she expected to have something show up, a note, a letter, a call, to tell her where he happened to be, nothing ever came. and she felt as if she had been abandoned, again in her life-- though all of his clothes where there, nothing was gone, her father was missing, and never came back. but she didn't have to go back into the system, being eighteen meant she was an adult, that was the only good thing about that year, now she's twenty one, living in the same house.[/ul]

disney world. disney world. disney world. god, she loved saying that in her mind. bailey was jumping around like a little kid, trying to see over the heads of other people. but hey, she was having fun riding the rides either way. when was the last time she got the chance to go to a disney world? she couldn't remember, most likely, if she ever had she'd been really young, because bailey didn't remember. and as she jumped up and down, her converse colliding with the stone ground before being in the air once again, her fire ball hair, bounced around, jumping mid high in the air just as she did. this ride was taking to long, she whined in the back of her mind. by time the line got even close to being there, she could have most likely rode about two or three other things in the park. god. she felt even more like a kid now, and she didn't have to follow anyone, or listen to anyone. oh it was great not having to listen to someone telling you to stay by them. and the only reason she said that, was because a little kid ran past, before getting yelled at for just that. and once again, bailey went to jumping to see how far the line was. and when her feet hit the ground, she blowed up ward, making her bangs flutter before falling back onto her forehead.
okay. she wouldn't stand in line anymore. just for the simple fact she was bored, and was sure there was another ride around the area she wanted to ride more. though the only reason she had gotten into this line was because it was right across from the other one-- damn man told her she wasn't tall enough to ride. she was plenty tall! she was only five foot two. that wasn't that short. and bailey, had almost attempted to attack him. but that would get her thrown out. first person that told her she was too short to ride a ride. if it was a little kid, she'd see why they'd stop them. but a eighteen year old being stopped? it made her mad. just because she felt like she'd been called short. and with that, bailey moved out of the line, stepping to the side, before turning on her heel and looking around for a second. trying to think of which ride she wanted to do more. the tea cups, or a roller coaster? it seemed so hard to choose for the teen. so hard, because the tea cups were fun, because you got to spin. one guy made her cup stop one time, she had it going too fast. psh. and a roller coaster, was just, epic win, no matter what. and they had this one where you went upside down, how could that not be fun? upside down?! come on!
the line for the tea cups were always short. always, because it was a kid ride. but she loved it. like that ride, the dizzy dragons. but she liked sitting in a tea cup, it was always a bit funnier. at least to bailey it was. and well, seeing as the tea cups were always short, she decided to make a bee line straight for the roller coaster. that line wasn't overly big, so she wouldn't have to wait too long to ride it. and after the roller coaster, then to the tea cups, and then she knew another ride she wanted to hit. that toy story ride they had, where you got to ride around and shoot things, oh yes, that thing was so much fun. she knew a few rides she wanted to hit before she had to roll out. so basically, bailey had almost her full day planned out. she'd spent most the day just going from ride to ride. the red-head had rode just about everything there already, a few rides she wasn't able to get to. because the one guy had to say she wasn't fucking tall enough. though, the eighteen year old seemed to fall off track when she spotted a certain blond. it made her walking stop short. was that who she thought it was? it couldn't be dalton. seriously, it was so hard to see him being at disney world. then again.. he had to have fun at some point, didn't he? well considering she could only see his back right now, that didn't matter that much. and she skipped over to him, she was sure it was him. and when she got closer, she sang out his first name, knowing he didn't like it. "dalton!" and she poked him in his back, just to get him to turn around. she was grinning widely as she did it. even dalton, or rather harley, couldn't bring down her day just yet. though, another guy saying she couldn't ride because she wasn't tall enough would set her off.
